What's the Spareground website all about then?
It’s easy. This website allows any individual or organisation to list or search for available space.
Generally, it mainly refers to land, storage, parking or accommodation but it could ultimately mean anything.
Have some spare land at the side of your house doing nothing? Then list it as available for allotment or storage of a car for example.
Need somewhere for your band to rehearse or somewhere to keep a caravan, then create a wanted listing.
These examples are only scraping the surface of the potential opportunities. Check the listings and you will see examples of what people are using this site for.
We do not make any charges at all for using this site, it’s free to everyone to use.
The aim is to make the most of what we have; share it freely, or if you want to do so then make some extra cash from it.

Listing Ideas & Suggestions
Accommodation is always highly sought. You may live near a major sports or music venue or near a popular event. Options to rent out your house to cater for these concerts and events can raise a nice sum of money!
If you can offer parking facilities for events, congested parking areas, near train stations or airports or just for Christmas shopping trips, list it here. Parking is always wanted in every town and city in the UK. Low availability of cost effective parking makes this a winner for everyone.
Many of us can offer some kind of storage for all kinds of uses; sports equipment, cars, furniture, a few boxes even. It probably won't earn you mega bucks but it will certainly help someone out and give you a few quid.
Land options are vast; land for growing crops, keeping bees, exercising dogs, keeping caravans, holding events, it's endless. Spareground is open to everyone so those business or agricultural organisations with land are welcome to list here too.
